你、我、他都可以做菩萨
只要拿出一分诚心为人服务
就是最灵验的菩萨。
Every person can be the most efficient Bodhisattvas
if we are willing to serve others with sincerity.

最平淡的日子,
心里最安定;
因为没有患得之心,
便没有患失之苦。
Living a simple life makes
the heart feel at ease;
because there is no worry
of winning or losing.

换个角度看世界
世界无限宽广。

我们若能将欲望减低,
那么生活上便没有什么
烦恼值得计较了。

Minimize our worldly desire to
free us from affliction and conflicts.
The Happy Planet Index (HPI) is an index of human well-being and environmental impact that was introduced by the New Economics Foundation (NEF) in July 2006. The index is designed to challenge well-established indices of countries’ development, such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the Human Development Index (HDI), which are seen as not taking sustainability into account. In particular, GDP is seen as inappropriate, as the usual ultimate aim of most people is not to be rich, but to be happy and healthy. Furthermore, it is believed that the notion of sustainable development requires that we have a measure of the environmental costs of pursuing those goals.
The Happy Planet Index 2.0: Why good lives don’t have to cost the Earth, first published in July 2009. The report presents the results of the second global compilation of the Happy Planet Index (HPI), based on improved data for 143 countries around the world – representing 99 per cent of the world’s population. The results shows that globally we are still far from achieving good lives within the Earth’s finite resource limits. But although the evidence shows that we are heading in the wrong direction, the achievements of some countries around the world provide reasons to believe that we can achieve true sustainable well-being.
Let look at the ranking of Malaysia now. Surprise! We ranked as the 33 happiest place in the world out of 143 countries. Mean Malaysian are quite satisfy and right direction in our current living. Do you?
