黄明志电影 Nasi Lemak 2.0 (辣死你妈 2.0) 上映35天，突破了全马7,000,000总票房！刷新大马中文电影票房纪录。黄明志在庆功宴上感激各族同胞支持。

黄明志也表示Nasi Lemak 2.0仅入围“非马来语电影奖”， 不被认定为大马电影感到失望。而目前黄明志也在寻找其他管道申请成为“大马电影”，使Nasi Lemak 2.0可以免缴20%的昂贵电影税。
